The Holy See announced today the erection of a new eparcy of the 'MAVELIKARA DEI SIRO-MALANKARESI' and includes information on the man chosen to be the first bishop of the eparchy.
The Ethiopians in Somalia intend to leave in two weeks, but the Somali government wants them to stick around for awhile (BBC). Ethiopia needs to pull out as soon as possible. A protracted struggle between the UIC and Ethiopia is bad for both Ethiopia and Somalia in general.
